Finding ways to engage

Drawing Art History is a year-long drawing project by Sara Hohn, a user experience strategist and art history enthusiast.

By drawing selected works of art history by underrepresented groups of artists, I’ll improve my drawing skills and share what I learn about art.

Every week for a year, I select a work of art and illustrate it digitally. Since I didn’t really know how to draw, this is a process of both learning drawing fundamentals, and finding a personal style.

In the course of the project, I plan to use my journey to envision how I can help others connect with the art they love.
